Shahebaz Khan is the General Manager for the UAE. He is responsible for overall strategy in UAE, including business development, resource optimization, and building long-term relationships with Visa clients, regulators and other key stakeholders to drive the adoption of cashless payments in the market.

Shahebaz joined Visa in 2011 and was promoted in 2013 to Head of Visa Consulting and Analytics for the Middle East and North Africa region. He brings over 20 years of payments business and leadership experience to support issuers, acquirers and merchants in the region to improve their profitability and grow their business.

Prior to joining Visa, Shahebaz held senior positions in banking and financial services in the Middle East and Australia. He holds an MBA with a major in Strategic Management and Marketing from MT Eliza Business School, Monash University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bombay University, India.
