Suvo is a distinguished retail banking professional with over 33 years of multi-functional experience with five leading financial institutions and in multiple geographies across Middle East and Asia. Currently, he is the Senior Executive Vice President and Group Head of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management businesses of Emirates NBD, the largest bank by customer base and brand value in the UAE and the most awarded bank in the Middle East.

In 2015, Suvo was recognized by The Asian Banker as the Retail Banker of the Year. In 2017, he was recognized as the Digital Leader of the Middle East by the MIT Sloan Management Review. Retail Banker International has honored him in 2018 with the International Retail Banker of the Year award and in 2019 with the Trailblazer Award for Asia.

Suvo is well regarded as a thought leader in the banking industry and also serves on the advisory boards of two leading educational institutions, Abu Dhabi University and GEMS Modern Academy.
